Self-advocacy is a part of New England Residential Services core beliefs and philosophy - we strongly believe that every individual has the right to make decisions about their own life. The Problem Solvers are just one of many ways that we’ve integrated this belief system into our communities and supports.

The Problem Solvers is a nine-member committee made up of community members from New England Residential Services homes. These members choose what topics they’d like to focus on and address. They provide valuable insights on community life and discuss and vote on changes that they would like to work toward for themselves and their communities. Together, The Problem Solvers have become a powerful force for change in the communities that they live in and care about.
